For the first time, I am seriously involved with the famous challenge ”Inktober”, with a schedule and themes which all these 30 works have been based on. But my artworks using ink are exclusively part of my illustration projects, and my principal media in arts isn’t ink to spend hours and hours per day or 15 minutes in a sketch which one would be ”a daily expression of my style”, a reason why I’ve never had any interest in the challenge seriously before. Apparently, this is not an issue, considering how opened has been the Inktober editions, promoting the possibility of other media experiments and explorations.
My artistic process is necessarily based on theories or the famous ” writing” before ”action”..in a simplified version: observing/wondering a/about a phenomenon, formulating some couple of hypothesis and then, doing experiments, notations, creating machines and facing the error and mistakes. Cause and Effect: Schedule is mandatory. 30 days, 30 possibilities em some countless changes of not following all this planning… no worries about this last part.
The Inktober retains a potential capacity as ”abstract and summary” about artists principal themes and current exploring fields; based on this thought, my list contains some ”General Themes”, where the ”secondary themes” are divided in days which ”represents” my ”research lines” of this year in different levels. ”General Themes” includes the ”Physical Representation Aspects” (which englobe some art techniques as secondary themes and colour by material properties), ”Art theory revolutions: Metaphysical Aspects” and ”Art as a tool: Expressive scientifical Aspects.”:
